68th BPSC Prelims Exam 2023, Exam Rules and Instructions: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is all set to conduct the 68th BPSC Preliminary Exam on 12th February 2023. This year, over 4.34 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the exam, which is a significant increase from last year’s 3.2 lakh candidates. A total of 805 examination centers have been set up across the state to accommodate the huge number of candidates.
BPSC has informed the nodal officers of all the examination centers about the code and conduct of the preliminary exam. The commission has also shared the instructions and guidelines related to the examination with the candidates to ensure a fair and transparent process. BPSC has zero tolerance for any anomalies and will take strict action against anyone found involved in any kind of exam irregularities.
The 68th BPSC preliminary exam will be conducted at 805 examination centers in 38 districts of Bihar. Candidates have already been informed about their examination centers and are advised to make their travel arrangements accordingly. Most of the exam centers are located in the districts to make it easier for the candidates to reach.
Candidates are advised to read the instructions given on the Examination Schedule and Admit Card carefully. They are advised to reach the exam centers within the stipulated time, as no admittance will be allowed after 11:00 AM. Entry to the exam center will start at 09:30 AM.
The 68th BPSC preliminary exam will be conducted on the revised exam pattern. As per the revised BPSC 2023 exam pattern, there will be negative marking equally on all 150 questions. For every correct answer, candidates will receive 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.
It is important for the candidates to download their BPSC Admit Card before reaching their examination center. Along with the admit card, they should also carry a specified photo identity proof for verification purposes. Candidates can download their BPSC Admit Card using their Registration/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password.
BPSC has warned that any candidate found involved in any kind of exam anomalies will be held firmly. Candidates who propagate false information about the examination will be banned for 3 years from appearing in any state-level examination. Candidates involved in incidents of copying and paper leak will be debarred from appearing for the exam for the next 5 years, and their names will be shared with UPSC and other state commissions so that they too will be debarred from taking the respective exams.
68th BPSC Prelims 2023 is just around the corner, and the candidates should prepare themselves for the big day.
