The Civil Aviation Minister tweeted, ‘Indian Air Force has been requested to permission to resume Darbhanga Airport work. Once we start work, by October 2020 all the work should be completed. Puri said, “The work at the Airport was going on fast before being temporarily halted due to the lockdown.”
The lockdown has been going on since 25 March to prevent the infection of Coronavirus in India, this infection has infected 67 thousand 152 people across the country while 2206 people have died.

Puri said, ‘The Airport Authority of India is constructing an interim civil enclave. For this, the land has been leased from the Indian Air Force. A terminal is being constructed in it, which will have a capacity of 150 passengers, 95 percent of which has been completed.
